Dear Family,

This may be our last attempt to gather all the histories before we proceed with the compiling of our George and Minnie Kidd History Book.  We ask you to please take a few minutes and type up your histories if you would like to be included in this book.

Our Family representatives are:

Fern Kidd:  Terry Kidd
Nelda MacPherson: Debbie Buckner
Earl Kidd: Elizabeth Kidd
Jack Kidd: Norma Olsen
Clark Kidd: Robert Kidd
You can either get them to your family representative or send them directly to Dianne or Debbie.  I have included our email addresses at the end of this letter.

  1. (2ndGeneration) At this point most of our parents have passed away except Jack and Lillian and Marilyn, Please check for histories they may have written, or with your siblings to get information from them, which hopefully include the following for each family.
    a. Before marriage
    b. Courtship, marriage

  2. Family life, things are done as families, positive memories of   attributes, talents, special family experiences and lots of pictures.
  3. Spiritual experiences
  4. (3rdgeneration) Which would be the children of Fern, Earl, Nelda, Jack, and Clark.  We ask that you fill out your family group sheet or at least have a list of each of your children and their children if they are married with where they were born and date and marriage date.

We also need your history of you and your spouse and your history as you raised your children, please include special experiences and opportunities you might have had, memories made, and fun traditions you included in your lives.  Please include pictures if you scan them please scan them at, at least 300 dpi to send.  Or send them if you trust us and we will scan them and mail them back to you.  At this point we are not limiting pages…

  1. (4thGeneration) This would be the children of the 5 siblings children. Ie. Norma’s children’s histories and that of their family life etc.
  2. Please check for correct attributes.  We want them to be kind, encouraging and please, no negative gossip.  If someone has a spiritual experience of their own to show a positive outcome through something negative, it should only come from the person involved.

  4. We could surely use help on George and Minnie’s histories from their living children and spouses or older grandchildren that remember them.  They both died young and we don’t have a lot of personal
    knowledge of them
